FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL LAWYER

Sheetal Maya Nanda

As the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Quantum™ Law Group, Sheetal has navigated the intricate realms of both entertainment and immigration law for over a decade. Sheetal makes it her mission to deliver innovative legal solutions in a cost-effective manner and to build client relationships rooted in integrity.

Known for her strategic guidance, transparency, and her ability to relate to just about anybody, Sheetal’s approach emphasizes personal connection, meticulous attention to detail, simplifying complex legal matters and providing efficient solutions for her clients.

As their trusted advisor, Sheetal’s clients appreciate her commitment to empowering them. Whether negotiating an option agreement, helping a tech start-up navigate their immigration to Canada or effectively managing a crisis for a client, she provides tailored advice to each client’s circumstances, needs and goals.

Sheetal’s scope of practice includes providing expert counsel to foreign nationals coming to Canada to work in the entertainment, sports, health care and tech sectors. Her clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals, from producers and directors to tech entrepreneurs, STEM professionals and digital content creators.

Beyond the Canadian entertainment landscape, Sheetal has negotiated deals in Bollywood and the broader Indian cinema industry, as well as in Europe. Previously, she served as Canadian of Counsel for a prestigious law firm based in Los Angeles.

In addition to practicing law, Sheetal loves to teach. She is an Adjunct Professor at TMU’s Lincoln Alexander Law School where she currently teaches Sports & Entertainment law. She previously taught ‘The Business of Lawyering’, where she was passionate about teaching students the innovative and agile strategies she developed during her own entrepreneurial journey.
